Dubbed the 'Godfather of PowWowStep' DJ Shub AKA producer Dan General, a Mohawk from the Six Nations of the Grand River, is one of Canada's most forward-thinking, genre-merging artists. A former member of A Tribe Called Red and multi award winner for production and DJ Battles, General emerges in 2020 with his first full length album and showcases the full spectrum of his musical knowledge and control.

'War Club' is a call to arms for a new generation of artists in a new climate of expression and influence. The merging of traditions and technology, translating the passing of control from the elder to the incumbent via a microphone and 2 turntables. The album features collaborations with some of Canada's most politically minded voices including Randy Bachman, Snotty Nose Rez Kids, Phoenix, Hellnback and Jewlz.
